The educational platform brought together about 150 participants from all over the country – leaders of territorial and primary organizations of BRSM, the country's largest industrial flagships, and activists of the Youth Union.
– Based on the work of our regional organization of BRSM, we see how everyone is involved in all social processes of life, ready to defend the honor of our homeland at the most prestigious events. Youth is always at the forefront, in the first ranks of scientific, educational, creative, and production activities. These young people are our present, and the role of leaders in this work is invaluable. This is the force that unites, directs, and helps to ensure that the voice of youth sounds ever brighter and clearer, – noted Dmitry Demidov, Chairman of the Regional Council of Deputies. – The republican seminar will allow our youth to communicate with like-minded people, exchange experiences, talk about their practices and achievements, and in the future, their ideas will serve as a guide for work.
Alexander Lukyanov, First Secretary of the Central Committee of BRSM, noted that the seminar also provides an opportunity to introduce newly elected secretaries to the experience of established colleagues in order to further develop their primary organization.
– It is very important for the leaders of the Central Committee and regional committees to consider the opinions of young people, to hear their ideas and proposals in the development of strategic plans. One of the initiatives that was announced at previous seminars was the implementation of an interactive information system that allows managing the process and maintaining a rating of our activists. Even today, we are proud that for several years this opportunity has been available, and a smart card, a new membership card, has also appeared, – said Alexander Lukyanov. – A significant part of the IV seminar program will be visits to leading primary organizations at large enterprises in Vitebsk, and higher education institutions. We have also invited experts who will talk about, among other things, the trends that are currently forming among young people.
Zhanna Naritsyna, the First Secretary of the Regional Committee of the BRSM, noted that over two days, seminar participants will have meetings with work collectives, a youth plein air, a quest orientation, theoretical and practical sessions related to the organization of student detachments and youth detachments for law and order protection, work in the internet space, etc.
Primary organizations of the BRSM (Belarusian Republican Youth Union) of "Vitebskenergo", the Vitebsk branch of the Belarusian Railway, "Vitebskoblgaz", and others shared best practices in implementing state youth policy.
Yegor Petrashko, secretary of the primary organization of the BRSM at the Lukomlskaya GRES (State District Power Station), stated that the enterprise's youth actively participate in various events, campaigns, and good deeds. The organization has over 200 members under the age of 31, with 100% membership in the BRSM.
