The competition was opened by the Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee, Alexander Subbotin.
He emphasized that such tournaments should become traditional, and the Vitebsk region has every chance to become the capital of this spectacular sport in Belarus. The head of the region also had the opportunity to practice practical shooting.
Action Air is a young and unique discipline in shooting sports: participants must hit targets not in a calm environment and from a comfortable position, but by moving from place to place as quickly as possible. 70 people from different parts of Belarus and Russia participated in the Vitebsk competitions, including students from military-patriotic clubs of Minsk, Vitebsk, and Orsha. They were divided into several categories, depending on gender and age. Each shooter had to demonstrate their skills in six exercises.
