On March 24, mobile pulmonoscans will be installed in Vitebsk, Orsha, Polotsk, and Novopolotsk for free fluorographic examination of all who wish. In the regional center, the installations will operate near the "Evikom" shopping center and the railway station square of the railway station from 10:00 to 15:00. "As the results of previous years show, several hundred people participate in the examination," the organization noted. In addition, on this day in these cities, as well as in Glubokoye, Postavy, Braslav, Senno, Shumilino, Chashniki, Miory, and Vitebsk district (based on the Shapechinsky rural council), Red Cross volunteers will offer passers-by to express solidarity with people living with tuberculosis and undergoing inpatient treatment in hospitals. To do this, they only need to write good wishes and words of support on specially made postcards with the addresses of the hospitals indicated. The activists of the public organization will also distribute printed informational materials. The campaign, timed to coincide with World Tuberculosis Day, is aimed at popularizing the responsible attitude of the population to their health, drawing attention to the problem of tuberculosis, and identifying new cases of the disease.
