15 November, Minsk /BELTA correspondent/. In Liozno, Vitebsk region, a truck driver fatally hit a pensioner who was crossing the road in an unauthorized place. This was reported to a BELTA correspondent by the Department of Internal Affairs of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The traffic accident occurred on November 14 at approximately 9:00 PM on the R21 highway (Vitebsk – Liozno - Russian border). The driver of a truck with a semi-trailer hit a pedestrian born in 1938, although he was wearing a reflective element. The pensioner died at the scene.
