According to information from the regional agricultural sales department, as of the morning of April 15, 56.7 thousand hectares, or 44.3% of the plan, have been sown with early grain and leguminous crops (as of the same date in 2023, 6.5 thousand hectares, or 4.6%, had been sown). Orsha (86.6%), Tolochin (76.3%), and Chashniki (75.7%) districts are leading. In total, nine regions have passed the halfway mark in sowing these crops. Additionally, 3 thousand hectares of spring rapeseed (14.4%) and one-fifth of flax – 2.2 thousand hectares – have been sown in the Vitebsk region.

The first 500 hectares have been allocated for corn, including 263 hectares for grain.

The country's leader in potato cultivation, the Tolochin Cannery, has planted 119 hectares of the "second bread" out of a planned thousand.
