23 September, Minsk /BELTA correspondent/. In the Vitebsk region, elections have already taken place at two closed polling stations. This was announced today by the Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Election Commission, Nikolai Konevalov, during a direct line with the Central Election Commission, BELTA correspondent reports.
At the closed polling stations, two hospitals had already reported on the elections held by 10:00.
All polling stations opened on time; there are 39 in total, including four closed ones (hospitals and one military unit). "We expect the majority of voters to come to the polling stations between 12:00 and 15:00-16:00," said Nikolai Konevalov.
He noted that there are no serious conflict situations during the elections. During the early voting period, there was one statement to the district commission regarding one of the observers not having the opportunity to observe the process of ballot casting into the ballot box in more detail. The issue was investigated and resolved on-site, meaning there are no problems as of today.-0-
