Residents of the region will work at their workplaces or carry out landscaping and restoration of historical and cultural sites, territories of populated areas, and prepare children's health and sports camps for the summer season. In the Vitebsk region, over 300,000 people have registered to participate in the subbotnik at designated sites.

The leadership of the Vitebsk region will participate in the landscaping of Gagarin Street, which is currently undergoing large-scale reconstruction. Gagarin Street was chosen as a subbotnik site for a reason. Recently, it marked the 60th anniversary of the first human space flight, accomplished by Soviet cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin on April 12, 1961.

Additionally, in Vitebsk, subbotnik participants will tidy up the grounds of the regional clinical centre for medical rehabilitation of disabled persons and veterans of combat operations in other states, and the youth square on Meditsinskaya Street, among other locations.

In the regions, efforts will be focused on memorial complexes such as "Proryv" in Ushachi District, "Urochishche Peski" in Polotsk District, "Vishenki" in Chashniki District, the military burial site in the agro-town of Kopti, Vitebsk District, the Alley of Unity in Verkhnedvinsk, and the park in Beshenkovichi dedicated to the Year of National Unity, among others.

Fifty percent of the funds earned on the day of the republican subbotnik will be directed to the Ministry of Health to strengthen the material and technical base of medical institutions, including the procurement of equipment for providing planned and emergency medical care to the population, and partial financing of the purchase of vaccines against the infection caused by the coronavirus COVID-19, to ensure the accessibility of vaccination for the population. The remaining 50% will remain at the disposal of the regional executive committees and the Minsk City Executive Committee and will be used for the repair, reconstruction, restoration, and renovation of historical and cultural sites, memorial complexes, and sites of military glory from the Great Patriotic War period.
