27 September, Vitebsk /Olga Bogacheva - BELTA/. Br500 billion will be allocated for the repair of housing stock in the Vitebsk region in 2013. This was announced today at a meeting of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee by its Chairman, Alexander Kosinets, BELTA correspondent reports.
"More than 55% of citizens' appeals to authorities are related to housing and communal services issues, questions about the need for repairs, maintenance, etc. A significant number of appeals also concern the operation of dilapidated housing. We must resolve these issues," noted Alexander Kosinets. To this end, he decided to allocate Br500 billion for the repair of housing stock in 2013, and Br100 billion for dilapidated housing. An additional Br100 billion in funding is also planned to be allocated for the implementation of the state program for water supply and sanitation "Clean Water".
"In the future, we will seek additional opportunities for financing these areas if necessary," the governor added. -0-
