Four testing centres have been organised in the Vitebsk region. Entrants will take the centralised testing at the Vitebsk State Technological University (VSTU), Vitebsk State University named after P.M. Masherov, Polotsk State University (PSU) and Orsha State Mechanical-Economic College. "The registration of entrants took place from May 2 to June 1. In the region, 22.1 thousand participants have registered, which is 3.6 thousand less than last year," the SCC noted.

Commissions for monitoring the preparation and conduct of entrance examinations to higher education institutions are headed by the Chairman of the Vitebsk Region SCC Vladimir Godyatsky (VSTU), Deputy Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee Vladimir Penin (Vitebsk State University named after P.M. Masherov and Vitebsk State Academy of Veterinary Medicine). The President's Aide - Inspector for the Vitebsk Region Anatoly Linevich headed the commissions at PSU and Vitebsk State Medical University.

"In addition to the permanent employees of the State Control Committee, over 280 additional people have been involved to ensure control directly in each auditorium during the testing. These are representatives of local executive and administrative bodies, employees of educational institutions and representatives of the BRSM," the department added.

Centralised testing in Belarus will be held from June 25 to July 16. On the first day, entrants will face an exam in the Belarusian language. Registration to participate in the testing on reserve days (if there is a valid reason for absence) will take place from July 12 to July 17 at the Vitebsk Technological University. The university has been designated as the venue for centralised testing on reserve days (July 19, 21 and 23) in the Vitebsk region.
