A mobilization exercise with the conscription of reservists is being conducted with the military commissariats of the Vitebsk region. This was reported to BELTA by the Ministry of Defence.
The First Deputy Head of the Main Organizational and Mobilization Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, Alexander Gudkov, handed over the order to commence the exercise to the Military Commissar of the Vitebsk region, Dmitry Volfovich.
During the exercise, reservists will refresh their skills in handling weapons and equipment, and will perform live firing exercises with small arms. Measures will also be taken to notify and summon reservists to the military commissariats.
Units of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces will participate in the exercise.
