The commission comprises 13 members. These are representatives of political parties, other public associations, work collectives, and citizens nominated by submitting an application.
The responsibility for this decision, for the commission's ability to ensure the electoral campaign is conducted, will lie with us, the members of the executive committee and the presidium of the regional Council of Deputies. I would like to emphasize that in 2024, a qualitative modernisation of the political system has been implemented in Belarus. On February 25, the first-ever unified voting day was held, where Belarusians elected deputies of all levels. Also, in the outgoing year, members of the Council of the Republic and delegates to the All-Belarusian People's Assembly were elected. These elections were held at a high organisational level. Therefore, I am setting you all up for the same effective work in the upcoming presidential campaign," stressed the Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee, Alexander Subbotin.
