Vitebsk, 9 October /Olga Bogacheva - BELTA/. Laureates of the Z. Tusnolobova-Marchenko Prize have been determined in the Vitebsk region, the Committee for Labour, Employment and Social Protection of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee informed a BELTA correspondent. Among the awardees are representatives from all regions of the oblast, engaged in various professions. These include foster parents from family-type children's homes, adoptive parents, teachers, workers from Orsha Linen Mill, OJSC "Lantan", Verkhnedvinsk Dairy Plant, Krasnaya Zvezda Paper Mill, housewives, and employees of cultural, healthcare, and other institutions. Responsible, disciplined, and hardworking at their jobs, these women also serve as excellent role models at home, where they equally excel as mothers, demonstrating their best qualities in raising children. As an example of a strong and close-knit family, where a woman masterfully balances work and home, the committee cited a representative from the Braslav district: 35-year-old Alla Antoshechko, a teacher at the Akhremovtsy Kindergarten, who, with her husband, is raising three preschool and school-aged children. She enjoys well-deserved respect among the kindergarten pupils' parents and the staff. At home, she is a tireless homemaker who, along with other family members, actively participates in school sports events and community projects ("Master of the Village", "Best Large Family of the Vitebsk Region-2012") that promote family values. The award ceremony for the women of Pridvinye with the Z. Tusnolobova-Marchenko Prize and the Order of Motherhood will take place on 12 October at the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee. The recipients of these high awards have been invited to the celebratory event along with their children. The Prize named after Hero of the Soviet Union Z.M. Tusnolobova-Marchenko was established by the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee on the initiative of the Women's Council to enhance the prestige of motherhood and strengthen the institution of the family. The award is presented annually in October to 27 women from the region for their high moral example in strengthening the family and raising children, and in establishing and maintaining harmonious family relationships. To date, a total of 322 women from the region (including the current laureates) have received this award.
