January 5, Minsk /BelTA/. In the Vitebsk region, heads of enterprises and organizations that failed to respond to criticism in the mass media have been held accountable. This was reported to BelTA by the Committee of State Control of Belarus. Facts of violation of the requirements of Decree No. 630 "On the response of officials to critical statements in state mass media" were established by the State Control Committee during control activities on this issue. Thus, the SCC found that the UPKHP "Vitebsk City Housing and Communal Services" responded to criticism in a local city newspaper with a delay of 8 days exceeding the established monthly period from the moment the critical material was published. Information from the State Control Committee served as the basis for bringing the deputy general director of this enterprise to disciplinary responsibility. The UP ZhKH of Miory District responded to criticism in a district newspaper with a delay exceeding the established monthly period from the moment the critical material was published. Information about the violation was sent by the State Control Committee to the Miory District Executive Committee for appropriate action. The chief engineer of the UP ZhKH of Miory District was brought to disciplinary responsibility - he was reprimanded. Facts were established when individual organizations did not respond to critical statements in the media at all - they did not send responses, despite the fact that the editorial offices informed them about the published materials. In particular, during control activities, the SCC found out that OAO "Purplevo", OAO "Kokovchino", KUSKhP "Semennovodchesky Sovkhoz named after Danukalov", OAO "Belenevo" and OAO "Sennensky Rayagriservice" of Sennensky District did not respond to the editorial office of the district newspaper about the results of the review of critical materials and the measures taken. At the suggestion of the State Control Committee, the heads of these enterprises were brought to disciplinary responsibility.-0-
