Over 71% of grain areas have been harvested in the Vitebsk region.

As of the morning of August 22, 253,620 hectares (71.4%) have been harvested in the Vitebsk region, with 798,247 tonnes of grain threshed. The average yield is 31.5 centners per hectare.

The yield of grain and leguminous crops exceeds last year's by 5.6 centners per hectare.

For the 2023 harvest, 39.1 thousand hectares of winter rapeseed have been sown (62.5% of the planned area).

Flax has been pulled from 11.6 thousand hectares (97.3%), with 3.8 thousand tonnes of flax straw prepared, averaging grade 1.01.

Fodder procurement for the second cutting is ongoing. 90.2 thousand hectares have been mown (90.2%), with 14.56 centners of fodder units per conventional head of cattle prepared (+0.55 centners of fodder units compared to last year's figure).
