1 September, Polotsk /Sergey Kochetov - BELTA/. The Vitebsk region is considering the introduction of free travel on urban public transport for schoolchildren. This was announced to journalists today by the Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee, Alexander Kosinets, as reported by BELTA correspondent.
"Today, many schoolchildren attend sports clubs and various hobby groups after classes, and wish to engage in creative activities, therefore the issue of free travel for pupils remains on the region's agenda," stressed the head of the regional executive committee.
According to him, this issue is planned to be considered at one of the sessions of the Regional Council of Deputies. "Children must be supported," Alexander Kosinets is convinced. -0-
