The most numerous family, raising 10 children, turned out to be the family of Alesya and Mikhail Lavereve from the Dubrovno district. They have seven sons and three daughters. In addition to being active and creative, the couple has a very romantic story of how they met. Alesya and Mikhail were brought together by their love for poetry: the man, originally from Russia, posted his poems online, and his future wife left a comment on one of them. And then Alesya became the main muse for her loving husband. This is how fate, seemingly by chance, connected two significant people who decided to create a large and friendly family. Also, thanks to state support, they were able to build two spacious, beautiful houses. The sunny performance of the Lavereve family unequivocally won over the jury, and the main prize of the competition goes to the Dubrovno district.
The family of Natalia and Alexander Medvedev from Novopolotsk presented their family tree and spoke about the sad pages of the dynasty's military history. They have three children. Speaking about happiness and luck, Alexander confidently states: "It's all in the hat," specifically the one he inherited from his great-grandfather, which will be passed down from father to son for generations. Also, thanks to a strong support group, the Medvedevs managed to take second place.
Olga and Anatoly Chernovskie from Vitebsk and their five children won bronze at the competition. Their journey through railway stations, where adults and children talked about themselves, also left no one indifferent.
Irina and Alexey Petukhov with their children from the Lepel district presented their project for creating kennels for stray dogs at the competition. And the family of Nadezhda Khodkevich-Ilyina and Elisei Ilyin from Orsha captivated the audience with their vocal performance in Belarusian and accompanying dances in national costumes.
Valery Kovalkov, Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Protection, who attended the regional stage, emphasized that this celebration is dedicated to the brightest and kindest thing we have – the family. "These are families where family ties are strong, where children, parents, grandparents are united by one idea – to make the world and their family better," noted the Deputy Minister, speaking about the competition participants.
