According to Elena Leonovich, Chief Physician of the Vitebsk Regional Clinical Maternity Hospital, a total of 10 babies were born in the Vitebsk region on Independence Day – 7 boys and 3 girls. Three of them were born in this healthcare facility.
Veronika Murzich from Glubokoye gave birth to her second child, a son named Vanechka, on the state holiday. Alexandra Burova from Vitebsk had her first child, a daughter. The family of Inna Osipova, a resident of Shumilino, became richer by another daughter – now sisters Lera and Dasha are eagerly awaiting their younger sister Tatyana at home. By the way, little Tanya was in a great hurry to be born precisely on July 3rd: her mother, who was being transported to the maternity hospital by ambulance, had to give birth on the road.
Lyudmila Zakhareva, a resident of Glubokoye, gave her family a significant gift on the eve of Independence Day by giving birth to her seventh child, a daughter named Polina, on July 2nd. Lyudmila and her husband are both from large families, and the tradition of having many children has been in their family for generations. In 2019, the woman was awarded the Order of Motherhood.
Today, the Vitebsk Regional Branch of the Belarusian Party "Belaya Rus" in conjunction with the public association "Belaya Rus" held a charity event at the maternity hospital. Members of the Vitebsk Regional Branch of the Belarusian Party "Belaya Rus", the public association "Belaya Rus", and mothers with newborn children took part in the event. As part of the event, mothers who gave birth to children on the eve of the holiday and on Independence Day received valuable gifts from the party and the public association.
