The third regional festival of street art "Volaty Prydsvinnia" was held in the agro-town of Novka, Vitebsk District.
The programme began with a mascot race and a dog show. Collectives from different parts of the Vitebsk region gathered on the festival stage. Street musicians, dancers and circus performers charged the audience with special energy.
They competed in two age categories: from 6 to 15 years old and from 16 to 35 years old. Presentations of venues and projects were held for the event guests. There was room for entertainment, sports, and useful purchases.
Marina Novitskaya, Head of the Main Department of Ideological Work and Youth Affairs of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, shared her impressions of the festival with a correspondent of "VV":
– Such events have a special charm, as they involve circus and street art. And the main thing is that such beautiful festivals are held not only in central cities, but also in district centres and agro-towns. There are many young people here who are inspired by the festive atmosphere or participate in it. This is very pleasing.
There are indeed many young people at the festival. Karina Ishkulo came to Vitebsk for the weekend from Minsk and decided to attend the event. The girl was impressed by the rich programme.
– Immersed in this festive atmosphere, I was pleasantly impressed by the participants' vibrant performances. I especially liked the dance group from Orsha. It's great that it's interesting for both children and adults. Everyone found something for themselves here.
