A joint meeting of the Presidium of the Lepel District Council of Deputies and the District Executive Committee was held in the meeting room of the District Executive Committee to discuss key issues of organising and holding the Village Council Day, as well as current territorial problems.

The meeting was attended by Natalia Markovich, member of the Standing Commission of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus for Regional Policy and Local Self-Government.

Main issues: - Vasily Shapka, Chairman of the Lepel Village Executive Committee, reported on the implementation of assignments following the Lepel Village Council Day. - The outcomes of meetings and assemblies with the public in the Borovskoye Village Council were discussed. Responsible executors reported on the work done. - Anna Belkovich, Chief Specialist of the Department of Architecture and Housing and Communal Services, informed about the elimination of identified violations in the Lepel Village Council and the results of the survey in the Borovskoye Village Council by the working group for order and improvement.

Issues of safety and law and order in the Borovskoye Village Council territory: Ivan Maskalkov, Head of the District Department for Emergency Situations, spoke about measures to prevent emergencies; Yevgeny Gayduk, District Inspector, reported on the state of law and order.

The meeting was constructive: tasks were set, and solutions to current issues were outlined. Work is ongoing!
