This year, the State Nature Protection Institution "Berezinsky Biosphere Reserve" celebrates its 100th anniversary.
In the jubilee year, the central estate has been renovated, featuring interesting art objects with an ecological focus. According to a new tradition of the reserve, visitors are encouraged to rub the nose or teeth of the beaver family sculpture to live happily until 100 years old. For young visitors, a children's complex with bees has been built, offering an enjoyable time in the fresh air.
- We offer various excursions into the wild. For example, "Birds of the Autumn Forest," "In the Land of the Roaring Deer," "The River Builder," "The Mysterious World of Swamps," during which you can hear or see representatives of the reserve's fauna and flora in their natural habitat, - shared Anastasia Ryzhkova, Head of the Scientific Department of the Berezinsky Biosphere Reserve.
The forest reserve eco-trail is the most popular among tourists, allowing visitors to explore various types of ecosystems, flora, and fauna within just a couple of hours.
Incidentally, very soon, it will be possible to observe the migration of migratory birds in the sky above Berezinsky. The observation tower on the forest trail offers a view of large swamp areas. Walking deeper along the wooden boardwalk, you will see a scattering of cranberries and a variety of mosses. A guide will tell you much new and interesting about primeval forests and swamps, and their inhabitants and plants.
- We plan to further develop controlled ecological tourism and modernise the infrastructure for nature lovers in the Berezinsky Reserve. Very soon, the House of Ecological Education with a new Museum of Reserve Management will reopen after reconstruction. The green schools program for children will also continue, - shared Anastasia Ryzhkova.
