The time has come for the most important agricultural campaign – the spring field campaign of 2021. It is not for nothing that they say: "What you sow, you shall reap." To ensure it is carried out within the established deadlines and to a high standard, extensive, targeted work is underway in the district.
To discuss important issues concerning field work, a board meeting was held at the SPF "Zaoserye" facility. The meeting was attended by the Chairman of the District Executive Committee Mikhail Kiselevich, the First Deputy Chairman of the District Executive Committee – Head of the Agriculture and Food Department of the District Executive Committee Natalya Monchik, the Deputy General Director for Agriculture of OJSC "Vitebsk Meat Processing Plant" Andrey Anatolyevich Bulavkin, as well as specialists from the District Agricultural and Food Department, managers, chief engineers, and agronomists of the district's agricultural enterprises.
Using SPF "Zaoserye" as an example, the discussion focused on how the district's enterprises are prepared for field work. It is worth noting here that beautiful, high-powered tractors are already visible across the fields beyond the village of Matyushino.
The Director of SPF "Zaoserye" Alexander Bykov reported on the farm's readiness for the spring field campaign, specifying the sown areas to be planted with agricultural crops this spring and the types of seeds to be used.
Everyone had the opportunity to express their opinions and share their experience. Issues concerning the quality of seed material, the procurement of high-reproduction and elite seeds, and many others were discussed.
