Employees of urban organisations and enterprises of our district are actively improving settlements. On weekends, work collectives are making efforts to establish proper order in rural areas.
Representatives of local authorities worked diligently on the improvement of the village of Haradchevichi. The Chairman of the District Executive Committee, Boris Yafremov, his deputies Vitaly Dmitriev, Nikolai Nikitin, Alexander Shidlovsky, the Chairman of the District Council of Deputies, Nikolai Miyusyura, and the heads of departments and services of the District Executive Committee started improving the village early in the morning. Within a few hours, the territory of the village took on a new look. Old bushes and shrubs were cleared along the roadsides. The village territory was mowed. Equipment from the communal unitary enterprise "Horki Sel'khoz Uslugi" was used during the community work day.
- The village literally blossomed before our eyes in just a few minutes, - noted the Chairman of the Horki Village Executive Committee, Vasily Badzyai. - 250 linear metres have been cleared of bushes and weeds. Despite their busy schedules, representatives of the authorities found time to work for the benefit of the rural population. Collectives of urban organisations also worked well in the villages of the Horki Village Council. For example, employees of the healthcare institution "Lepel Central Regional Hospital" worked on tidying up the agro-town of Horki, and employees of the finance department of the District Executive Committee, the department for labour, employment and social protection of the population, etc., worked in the village of Slabada.
