Accompanied by Olga Bazhenova, Head of the Inspection for Natural Resources and Environmental Protection, and Natalia Tarasova, Assistant Hygienist at the District Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology, the newspaper correspondent joined the inspection raid.

Today, an inspection of the sanitary condition of streets, solid waste collection sites, and public cemeteries within the territory of the Lepel rural council was carried out.

Zeleny Ostrov, Staroye Lyadno, Bolshoye and Maloye Zhezhilino, Irinpolye, Ekiman, Zarybino… The list includes over 10 picturesque villages, which are blooming with fruit trees. However, one issue is disheartening – unauthorized, hidden dumpsites in the bushes, as well as litter near the solid waste containers.

Based on the results of the raid, recommendations for the elimination of identified violations will be sent to the responsible economic entities.

Work on monitoring landscaping and maintaining order on the land will continue. The next raid will be conducted in the Borovskoye rural council.
