The story of Vanya Smoževsky from Lepel is unlikely to leave anyone indifferent. Vanya grew up healthy and happy, attended kindergarten on time, then school. But tragedy dashed all hopes. On February 20, 2015, he was hit by a driver near his home at a speed of over 100 km/h. The result was a severe traumatic brain injury and a prolonged coma. Vanya was permanently confined to bed. For several years now, there has been a struggle for the child's health. Caring people from Belarus, near and far abroad, donate money for endless rehabilitation.

Today, Viktor Azarionok, a deputy of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, a member of the republican public association "Belaya Rus", together with Alinа Jasko, a specialist of the organisational work department of the Lepel district organisation of the RPOO "Belaya Rus", visited Vanya Smoževsky.

- Vanya is in a wheelchair today. But he is a very strong boy, he has wonderful parents, and together they are coping with the terrible consequences of the accident, - says Viktor Vladimirovich.
