- Today, the inauguration of the President took place at the Palace of Independence. Alexander Grigoryevich Lukashenko has assumed the office of Head of State. For Belarusians, this is an event of historical significance: now we can be sure that we will continue to live in a free and independent country that will ensure our stable well-being, preserve peace, traditional values, our culture, and our history.
