Residents of Vitebsk presented their grandmother with a fine from a sobering-up station for her birthday, BELTA was informed by the information and public relations department of the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Mogilev Regional Executive Committee.
A 48-year-old resident of the Vitebsk region and his 23-year-old son arrived in Mogilev to congratulate their mother and grandmother, who lives in the regional center, on her birthday. However, they could not attend the celebration: the men began to celebrate the holiday while on the way.
Employees of the sobering-up station of the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Mogilev Regional Executive Committee found the drunken relatives near the railway station. The men had neither money nor gifts with them.
Instead of receiving congratulations, the birthday woman had to go to the sobering-up station and pay Br250 thousand for each of them. -0-
