On November 23, Vitebsk /Olga Bogacheva - BELTA/. Vitebsk is a dream city for Ekaterina Rozhdestvenskaya. The author of famous photo projects admitted this to journalists today, opening her personal exhibition in the city on the Dvina River, according to a BELTA correspondent. "My father communicated with Chagall and for a long time dreamed of visiting Vitebsk. Unfortunately, his dream never came true, so visiting this city was part of my life plans. I am glad that it happened," said Ekaterina Rozhdestvenskaya, emphasizing that Vitebsk made a very touching impression on her. "Films should be shot here, creativity should flourish," she shared her emotions from getting acquainted with the city of dreams. Talking about her creative projects, Ekaterina Rozhdestvenskaya noted that over 3,000 famous personalities have already participated in her photo projects. "They included various people – stars with a capital 'S' and those with fleeting fame. Lyudmila Gurchenko remains the most interesting person for me to this day. She was the best model and an amazing person with a bitchy character. At work, she demanded professionalism from everyone, but she also gave a thousand percent herself. I learned a lot from her. I haven't met anyone of a higher caliber than Lyudmila Markovna," the photo project author noted. Ekaterina Rozhdestvenskaya brought about 70 of her best works to Vitebsk. "The first time should always be the best," she commented on her choice. The exhibition features pictures where visitors gladly recognized their favorite artists and characters: Oleg Gazmanov, Konstantin Khabensky, Sofia Rotaru, Eldar Ryazanov, Philipp Kirkorov, Kristina Orbakaite, Sergey Bezrukov, Lyudmila Gurchenko, who masterfully embodied Pablo Picasso's "Absinthe Drinker". Among them were also representatives of Belarus: Dima Koldun as Angelo Doni (Raphael Sanzio, circa 1506), and "Pesniary", who perfectly fit into Adriaen van Ostade's "Peasant Society" (1671).
