On September 9, the cycle of classical music programmes for toddlers and their parents, "Lyalya the Doll's Fairy Tales," will commence. It is a conceptual continuation of the programme for expectant mothers, "Weaving the Soul from Notes." Young audiences will have the opportunity to hear the timbres of various instruments, play simple percussion and melodic instruments, and sing. The first fairy tale will feature music by Ogiński, Mozart, and Beethoven. Incidentally, the new season of the programme for expectant mothers starts on September 23 with the concert "Awaiting a Miracle" in the small hall of the philharmonic, designed to fill the time before the baby's birth with tenderness, love, and music.
On September 16 and 30, the Philharmonic will present children with the musical and play programme "A Note from Around the World." Children will embark on a global journey, learning languages and traditions, and becoming acquainted with motifs characteristic of different countries. Their companions will be virtuoso violinist Vladislav Mitsenko, the cheerful and lyrical dulcimer player Tatyana Movlya, and Tatyana Savitskaya, familiar to young audiences from many fairy tales.
And two pop concerts on September 15 and 28 will be dedicated to the most beautiful feeling – love. The programme "Love Will Find You" includes songs from the repertoire of Polina Gagarina, Ani Lorak, Tina Karol, and others, performed by vocalists and instrumentalists of the philharmonic. Solist Tatyana Movlya will present a call to action programme: "Burn with Hearts, Create with Love." The pieces offered to the listener by the dulcimer player elevate one above the mundane and fill with love. The programme is not solely based on Belarusian repertoire suitable for the dulcimer ("Why Shouldn't I Sing…", "Cornflower Sky"). The highlight of the concert is the opportunity to hear pieces not typically performed on this instrument – "Earth Song" by M. Jackson, "Spanish Guitar" by G. Yemelyanov, and "The Umbrellas of Cherbourg" by M. Legrand. Some compositions will be complemented by the wonderful vocals of Elena Grakova and Alena Papko, and the violin of Vladislav Mitsenko. Unique duets performed by the philharmonic soloists will be featured.
The official opening of the concert season at the philharmonic hall will traditionally take place on October 1st – International Music Day.
