The regional winter cultural and sports festival "Vitebsk Ski Track-2012" will bring together supporters of a healthy lifestyle today, BELTA was informed at the Vitebsk City Executive Committee. The event, organized as part of the republican sports festival "Belarusian Ski Track-2012", will be held at the Complex of Cultural and Mass Recreation named after the Soviet Army. A rich program will not let anyone get bored: performances by amateur art groups, a military band, demonstration performances by students of the "Pegas" equestrian sports school, paratroopers, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, and a lottery draw are planned. Guests and participants of the festival will have the opportunity not only to see many interesting things but also to test their own strength in winter fun and competitions. They will be invited to participate in mini-football on snow, darts, arm wrestling, kettlebell lifting, tug-of-war, and obstacle course competitions. The most resilient and athletic will start the ski races. Teams representing various educational institutions, sports, culture, enterprises, organizations of the city, as well as authorities, will compete in races over different distances. Winners will be awarded prizes.
