The public initiative was launched by the Grodno Regional Committee of the BR SM. Volunteers offer feasible assistance in clearing snow from the territories of elderly people living alone, veterans of the Great Patriotic War and concentration camp prisoners, healthcare institutions whose efforts are currently focused on combating coronavirus infection, utility services, as well as social facilities.
Given the weather conditions, with forecasts of up to -20°C and snowfalls in the coming days, the youth of the northern region of Belarus are ready to help clear snow for those who genuinely need it. The regional committee emphasized that volunteers will also provide assistance with other household issues if necessary.
