The enterprise intends to implement an investment project in the free economic zone to develop the production of MDF/HDF fibreboards. This will allow the joint-stock company to increase the sales volume of innovative products in foreign markets, as well as expand its export geography. In accordance with the legislation, the investment volume in the project implementation will be at least 1 million euros.
JSC "Vitebskdrev" is one of the largest wood processing enterprises in Belarus, capable of processing up to 1 thousand cubic meters of wood raw materials per day.
FEZ "Vitebsk" was established in 1999 and consists of 16 sectors with a total area of almost 2.8 thousand hectares, including seven located in Vitebsk, five in Orsha, and one each in Vitebsk, Polotsk, Postavy districts, and Novopolotsk. 40 enterprises with the participation of investors from 12 countries have been registered as FEZ residents, carrying out activities in almost 30 production areas (machine building, electronics, veterinary, chemical, fuel, food, light industry, woodworking). The total number of employees in resident enterprises is almost 11 thousand people.
