The celebration of Airborne Forces and Special Operations Forces Day will begin with an unusual event. In the morning, over 300 servicemen will march in a column from Victory Square along Frunze Avenue, presenting flowers to women and explaining the significance of this day.
"The servicemen will march through the central streets of the city and return to the 103rd Brigade, where our unit's open day will begin. Visitors will be able to learn about the daily life of servicemen, samples of military uniforms and weapons. Soldiers who have been discharged to the reserve will have the opportunity to visit their combat comrades. Later, a rally dedicated to the professional holiday will be held on the brigade's parade ground, with the participation of the head of the region, Nikolai Sherstnev, and the brigade commander, Vadim Shadura," the unit reported.
The honor guard company has prepared demonstration performances. Soldiers from reconnaissance units and the peacekeeping company will demonstrate their skills. Spectators will witness an operation to free mock hostages. Creative groups from the city will also perform at the celebration.
August 2 will be a day off for the servicemen of the brigade. In the afternoon, a concert will be organized for them, and the soldiers will be able to communicate with their parents and go on leave.
