Rescuers Artem Dikanov and Artem Noshchenko, with the support of the Vitebsk Regional Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, will present the photo exhibition "No Fear" today at the Regional Museum of Local Lore, as reported to BELTA by the cultural institution.
The exhibition features 20 works, in which the authors decided to showcase the work of rescuers on duty and their daily challenges. The "No Fear" project is a collection of photos of rescuers working in the "Vityaz" Fire and Rescue Squad in Vitebsk.
"People ready to risk their lives for another person exist not only in films but also in real life. They do not wear bright capes or suits, nor do they make pompous speeches. They simply conscientiously perform their official duties," the museum noted.
The exhibition will run until August 18.
The "Vityaz" Fire and Rescue Squad serves as an example of valor and professionalism. The squad's duty shifts respond to emergencies approximately 2,000 times a year, and annually, the squad's employees rescue over 100 people.
