On October 24, Vitebsk /Olga Bogacheva - BELTA/. RUP "Vitebsk Distillery "Pridvinye" plans to launch a souvenir product bottling line in December, the enterprise informed a BELTA correspondent. The capacity of the new automated line of Italian production, costing Br3.7 billion, is 3 thousand bottles per hour. The equipment allows bottling of alcoholic beverages in containers of any volume and shape – square, flasks, etc. Currently, commissioning works are underway. The total volume of capital investments for the implementation of the reconstruction project of this section amounted to Br4.4 billion. In addition, the project for the production of mineral water in glass bottles is in its final stage. The first trial batch of mineral water in bottles of 0.33 L and 0.75 L, with a total volume of about 500 dal, will be released for certification in November. In January-September 2011, the enterprise produced products worth Br90.3 billion, or 148.4% compared to the same period last year. Sales profitability is 16.7%. Vodka and alcoholic beverages produced amounted to 1169 thousand dal (108.3% compared to the 2010 level), non-alcoholic beverages – 86 thousand dal (191.1%), cognac – 13 thousand dal (144.4%), rectified spirit – 947 thousand dal (102.3%), mineral waters – 1118 thousand half-litres (178.9%). Investments in fixed capital for January-September amounted to Br15.3 billion, which is almost four times higher than the investment level for the same period in 2010. The plant was founded in 1898. The range of alcoholic products manufactured includes over 50 items. In addition, it produces non-alcoholic beverages and mineral water. The average number of employees is 660 people. -0-
