21 December, Minsk /Tatyana Chumakova - BELTA/. RUE "Vitebsk Fur Factory" will open a branded shop in Smolensk by the end of December, the enterprise informed BELTA correspondent. The full range of the enterprise's products will be available to visitors, including fur coats, headwear, and fur semi-finished products. The goods are intended for retail customers. The shop area is 100 sq.m, including 60 sq.m of retail space. Next year, the enterprise plans to open another shop in the Russian Federation, presumably in Moscow. The enterprise intends to increase supplies to Russia, which began at the end of the current year. Currently, the products of Vitebsk Fur Factory are almost entirely sold on the domestic market. The enterprise's distribution network is represented in Belarus by five branded stores (in all regional cities except Mogilev), as well as a trading house in Smolensk for wholesale buyers in Russia. Shops in Minsk, Gomel, and the Smolensk trading house were established this year. From December 21 to 24, Vitebsk Fur Factory is participating in the international universal exhibition-fair "Republic of Belarus - Your Partner!" in Smolensk. Vitebsk residents are presenting their latest collections of fur clothing and fur products. The enterprise also reported that by 2012, the factory's product range had been 100% updated. Mink, beaver, fox fur, karakul, and genuine leather are used for sewing clothes and headwear. Mink and leather are exclusively of domestic production. Leather products, including skirts, jackets, vests, and coats, began to be produced at Vitebsk Fur Factory this year. The enterprise's finished goods inventory has decreased from Br4.5 billion to Br600 million as of December 1 since the beginning of this year. RUE "Vitebsk Fur Factory" is an enterprise with a full processing cycle – from raw material dressing to product sewing and sales. The factory processes all types of fur and sheepskin raw materials. The enterprise produces over 100 models of outerwear. All products manufactured by Vitebsk Fur Factory are environmentally safe and certified in the national certification systems of Belarus and Russia.
