The Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee announces the annual regional competition for awards among young scientists.
The annual regional competition among young scientists is held to stimulate research activities of young scientists engaged in promising scientific research in organizations of the Vitebsk region.
The competition is held in the following categories:
Fundamental research – 3 awards;
Applied research and development – 4 awards, including one award for the best development achieving results in economy and thrift.
Applications for participation in the competition are accepted until December 1, 2024.
Doctors of sciences aged up to 45 years, candidates of sciences – up to 35 years, scientists without a degree – up to 30 years (as of October 1 of the year in which candidates are nominated) are eligible to participate in the competition. They must have at least three scientific publications in journals and collections of scientific works on the topic of the competitive work over the last 3 years, including the year of the competition.
Requirements for the submission of competitive works and other rules are set out in the Instructions on the Procedure for Conducting the Annual Regional Competition among Young Scientists, approved by the decision of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee dated 10.11.2022 No. 605 (National Register of Legal Acts of the Republic of Belarus, 2022, No. 9/119447).
