The list of top managers includes directors of 12 enterprises and organisations from Vitebsk, Novopolotsk, Orsha, Chashniki and Gorodok districts, including three private manufacturing companies and two educational institutions.
The recipients of the honorary title are Vladimir Nesterenko (RUPTP "Orsha Linen Mill"), Alexander Gordienko (OJSC "Vitebsk Liqueur and Vodka Plant "Pridvinye"), Mikhail Skurat (Administration of FEZ "Vitebsk"), Vladimir Ilyushenko (UP "Vitebskvtorkhmet"), Alexander Stankovsky (Branch "Vitebsk CHPP" RUP "Vitebskenergo"), Yuri Baranovsky (OJSC "DSU-45, Vitebsk"), Viktor Dashchenko (Branch "Chashniki PU" UP "Vitebskoblgaz"), Andrey Sidorov (PP "Machine-Building Company "Vitebsk Lifts"), Dmitry Barsukov (ChUPP "NOVY VEK spring"), Sergey Timofeev (OOO "Titan-Plast"), Nikolay Gavrichenko (Vitebsk State Academy of Veterinary Medicine) and Vladimir Shitko (Gorodok State Agrarian-Technical College).
Among the specialists of design departments of enterprises in the Vitebsk region, the best were recognised as Alexander Novikov, lead design engineer at Orsha Machine-Tool Plant "Krasny Borets", and Sergey Ovchinnikov, design engineer at OJSC "Design Bureau "Display".
In 2021, Alexander Novikov participated in the development of 10 special machine tools, and he was the lead designer for three main projects (internal grinding, cylindrical grinding, and thread grinding CNC machine tools). The machine tools created with his participation are characterised by the novelty of engineering solutions, high efficiency, and are not inferior to the best world analogues.
Sergey Ovchinnikov joined "Display" 11 years ago immediately after graduating from university. During this period, he has proven himself to be a highly qualified and proactive specialist. He works in one of the most important areas for the enterprise - the development of automated remotely controlled observation and firing systems. Sergey Ovchinnikov is the chief developer of the mechanical part of these systems, which are among the most in-demand types of products.
The best scientific developer of the Vitebsk region in 2021 is Doctor of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor, Head of the Department of "Ecology and Chemical Technologies" at the Vitebsk State Technological University, Natalia Yasinskaya. She specialises in the development of chemical technologies for processing textile and composite materials. Over the past two years, Natalia Yasinskaya has led 4 research projects under state scientific research programmes. In total, she has authored over 300 scientific works, including 8 patents for inventions. The results of her scientific research have been implemented at light industry enterprises, including the Orsha Linen Mill, Baranovichi Cotton Production Association, enterprises of the "Marko" holding, and others.
The Vitebsk Regional Union of Employers was established in 1999. This non-profit partnership unites about 400 enterprises and organisations from the real sector of the economy, and educational institutions. Winners of regional competitions are awarded an honorary badge and a diploma. The award ceremony for the laureates will take place at the next event of the VOSE.
