On April 9, Vitebsk / Olga Bogacheva - BELTA /. The Vitebsk Regional Council of Deputies has refined certain indicators of the Vitebsk region budget for 2012. The issue of making refinements was considered today at the 19th extraordinary session of the 26th convocation of the Vitebsk Regional Council of Deputies, reports BELTA correspondent. According to Boris Kichanovsky, Head of the Financial Department of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, the indicators of the regional budget for 2012 have been refined in terms of increasing revenues by Br68 billion and expenditures by Br7 billion according to the functional classification of budget expenditures by sections, subsections, and types of expenditures. The refinement of indicators is due to a number of factors. Thus, in connection with the change in oil supply conditions in 2011, the resumption of processing of tolling raw materials at Naftan OJSC, as well as taking into account the growth of oil prices on world markets, in the first quarter of 2012, individual oil refining companies in the region made advance payments of profit tax based on the results of work in 2011. In total, advance payments of profit tax based on the results of work of organizations in the Vitebsk region for 2011 amounted to about Br370 billion. In addition, for January-March of the current year, Br556.3 billion of profit tax was received by the local budgets of the region, of which Br251.1 billion went to the regional budget. The plan for the first quarter of 2012 was overfulfilled by Br159.9 billion, including the regional budget by Br94 billion. Taking into account the actual receipt of profit tax, the revenues of the regional budget increase by Br68 billion. Expenditures of the regional budget increase by Br7 billion. Financial resources will be directed to the preparation of the dormitory and academic building of the Glubokoe State Vocational Lyceum of Agricultural Production for the Day of Belarusian Written Language (it is planned to accommodate and feed guests of the holiday on the basis of this educational institution) and for the purchase of equipment and the performance of construction and installation works for Children's Polyclinic No. 2 with an extension on Chkalov Street. The excess of revenues over expenditures in the amount of Br61 billion is directed to the payment of fees by the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee as a guarantor for the repayment and servicing of loans attracted for the purchase of mineral fertilizers.
