Vitebskoblimushchestvo: The beginning of this year has been the most successful in the last 10 years for the sale of unused state property

Four unused state-owned properties were sold at an auction organised by the Vitebsk Regional Property Committee.

The greatest interest from buyers was generated by a petrol station in Sennensky District. The petrol station had been put up for auction for the 7th time. Previously, in June 2020, it had been sold for 20,300 roubles to a private transport company from Senno at an auction with a starting price of 1 base value. At that time, there were 2 buyers. However, due to the insufficient area of the land plot, the buyer refused the property.

Subsequently, the area of the provided land plot was increased from 4 to 26 ares, and on January 31, a repeat auction was held, which was attended by 5 buyers.

As a result, at the 58th step of the auction, the petrol station was sold for 43,808 roubles to a private enterprise from Senno.

In total, 11 properties have already been sold in January 2022 for over 500,000 roubles, of which 9 were sold at auctions with a starting price of 1 base value. As a rule, property sales are not very active at the beginning of the year; last year, only 2 properties were sold in January for 14,000 roubles, with an average of 3-5 properties sold. It can be noted that the beginning of this year has been the most productive January in 10 years.

In total, this year, over 340 unused properties of republican and communal ownership are planned for sale at auctions organised by the committee, of which over 150 will be put up for sale for the first time.

In Vitebsk, over 20 buildings and structures of the former OJSC "KIM" will be put up for tender, which have been formed into 5 lots, a conserved unfinished capital construction at Bogdan Khmelnitsky Street, an isolated premises with a garage in the area of the Smolensk market, and a complex of buildings of the former winery on Pokrovskaya Street.

In Novopolotsk, an administrative building at Blokhin Street, 3 kindergartens, and wholesale base buildings on Rizhsky Lane are offered.

As before, a significant part of the total number of properties offered for sale consists of social sphere facilities in rural areas – over 100 school and kindergarten buildings and 30 rural houses of culture and libraries. Various administrative and industrial buildings, warehouses, garages, shops, and others are also offered.
