On September 2, Vitebsk / Sergey Kochetov - BELTA /. Vitebsk unitary enterprise "Polymerkonstruktsiya" has implemented a unique project in Krasnodar for treating water of complex composition, as reported to BELTA correspondent by Sergey Sabodin, Head of the Marketing Research Department of the enterprise.
The Vitebsk manufacturer supplied and commissioned an iron removal station with a capacity of 6 thousand cubic meters per day at the Krasnodar water utility, which is part of the management company "Rosvodokanal". The uniqueness of the project lies in the fact that for the first time in Russia, it was possible to remove iron and manganese simultaneously from the water supplied to the residents of the settlement using a reagent-free method, while the initial content of iron and manganese exceeded the norms by 6 times. "Russian specialists did not fully believe in the capabilities of Belarusian technologies and equipment, so we agreed that the final payment under the contract for the work performed would be made only after obtaining positive results from the expertise of the purified water," noted Sergey Sabodin. The project cost amounted to about 60 million Russian rubles.
"Polymerkonstruktsiya" won the tender in conditions of fierce competition due to a comprehensive proposal for solving the water purification problem in the local operating conditions of water treatment equipment. The non-pressure automated iron removal station "Kristall-B", developed at the enterprise, is made of polymer materials, does not require the use of reagents for water purification, and also minimizes the customer's operating costs.
In addition, in the first half of the year, the enterprise expanded the geography of export supplies of equipment and services through cooperation with the Republic of Bashkortostan. "This is now the easternmost region in Russia where our water treatment equipment will operate, and by being present in Bashkortostan, we hope to advance further east in Russia," noted Sergey Sabodin. Currently, the Vitebsk enterprise has 10 Russian regions where "Polymerkonstruktsiya" water treatment equipment is operating or is planned to be installed.
UP "Polymerkonstruktsiya" specializes in the development of new technologies and technological solutions for water and wastewater treatment at water supply and sewerage facilities of settlements and industrial enterprises, and also produces local treatment facilities, pumping stations and iron removal plants, polymer tanks and containers for various purposes. The enterprise includes a scientific and technical center, a design bureau, a water treatment equipment plant, installation and commissioning departments, as well as a drilling and well repair section.-0-
