Information verification is underway

Preparations for the election of deputies to the local Councils of Deputies of the 27th convocation are actively underway in the district. As noted by Vasily Polonsky, Chairman of the District Election Commission for deputies of the District Council of Deputies of the 27th convocation, twelve initiative groups for collecting signatures in support of candidates for deputies were registered.

As noted by Vasily Polonsky, Chairman of the District Election Commission for deputies of the District Council of Deputies of the 27th convocation, twelve initiative groups for collecting signatures in support of candidates for deputies were registered. Nine candidates exercised their right and submitted documents for registration. Three candidates for deputies of the regional Council of Deputies submitted documents to the district election commission for the Lepel and Borovoye electoral districts, one of whom is a representative of the Liberal Democratic Party of Belarus and two were nominated by work collectives.

Documents have been submitted to the district commission from 40 candidates for deputies. Nine candidates were nominated by citizens by collecting signatures, three by the Communist Party of Belarus, and 28 people by work collectives. Of the 110 electoral districts to the rural Councils of Deputies, 67 people were nominated by citizens by collecting signatures, 41 people were nominated by work collectives, and three by the Communist Party of Belarus.

Currently, the district and regional election commissions are verifying the accuracy of the information provided by the candidates for deputies, which will be completed on February 20 of the current year.

By this time, the registration of candidates for deputies will also be completed. After February 20, the campaigning campaign will begin, within the framework of which candidates will work with the population on their election programs – their meetings with representatives of work collectives, etc., will take place.
