As part of the "Our Children" campaign, the Chairman of the Regional Council of Deputies, Vladimir Terentyev, visited the Centre for Corrective and Developmental Education and Rehabilitation of the Senno District. He congratulated the children on the upcoming New Year and presented gifts.
Vladimir Terentyev noted that since last year, together with Dmitry Khoma, Head of the Main Department for Education of the Regional Executive Committee, it was decided that each Centre for Corrective and Developmental Education and Rehabilitation in the Vitebsk region should receive 15,000 rubles for material and technical development.
On December 18, at a meeting of the budget commission, it was decided that similar amounts would be allocated for the next year.
Vladimir Terentyev presented Elena Vasilenok, Director of the Centre for Corrective and Developmental Education and Rehabilitation of the Senno District, with a smart mirror that helps children develop speech.
The head of the Vitebsk region's deputy corps wished the children progress in the New Year, stating that this would be the best gift for their parents.
From the district authorities, the Deputy Chairman of the Senno District Executive Committee, Alexander Krasakov, presented a certificate for the purchase of a light sandbox and a set of sports mats.
Reference "VV": The Centre for Corrective and Developmental Education and Rehabilitation has been operating since 2000. Currently, 83 wards aged from 0 to 18 years receive various types of assistance from the specialists of the educational institution.
