"In accordance with the Electoral Code of the Republic of Belarus, for the purpose of additional financing of expenses for the preparation and conduct of the elections of the President of the Republic of Belarus, the Central Commission of the Republic of Belarus for Elections and Referendums has established a non-budgetary fund, which is formed through voluntary transfers of funds to it from organizations, public associations, and citizens of the Republic of Belarus," the message states.

At the same time, the transfer of budgetary funds to the non-budgetary fund is not allowed, as well as funds from foreign states and organizations, international organizations, foreign citizens, stateless persons, and organizations whose founders (participants, property owners) are foreign states, foreign organizations, international organizations, foreign citizens, and stateless persons.

The fund's resources will be used to cover additional expenses related to the conduct of the presidential elections of the Republic of Belarus: the production of informational materials about candidates, posters with the election date, material and technical support for territorial and precinct commissions, as well as for the payment of other expenses directly related to the election campaign. The regulations on this fund are also posted on the official website of the Central Election Commission.

Legal entities and citizens of the Republic of Belarus who wish to participate in the formation of the fund can transfer money to the non-budgetary account No. 3630000001866 at JSC "ASB "Belarusbank" in Minsk, code 153001795, UNP 101541814.

As reported, in general, if the elections are held in two rounds, approximately Br260 billion 378 million will be used. This includes expenses for the operation of the Central Election Commission, commissions of other levels, as well as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus. If the elections are held in one round, approximately Br180 billion 853 million will be used. On average, the operation of one precinct election commission, provided the elections are held in one round, will cost approximately Br24 million. In total, more than 6.1 thousand such commissions will be established in the country.
