From 8:00 on July 30 to 8:00 on August 2, 2021, all personnel of the State Automobile Inspectorate of the Vitebsk region have been transferred to an enhanced duty regime.
Traffic police officers will strengthen control to prevent traffic rule violations related to driving into the oncoming lane, exceeding speed limits, and driving vehicles while intoxicated. Attention will also be paid to intoxicated pedestrians who may be on the roadway.
The main highways of the region will be patrolled under a mixed control regime, meaning traffic police inspectors will be present both in uniform and in marked vehicles, as well as in plain clothes and unmarked cars.
