From March 7 to 10, the State Automobile Inspectorate of Vitebsk region will conduct targeted raid activities and large-scale road patrols aimed at preventing road traffic accidents involving: - persons driving vehicles while intoxicated; - vulnerable road users, especially those who are intoxicated.

The State Automobile Inspectorate reminds that driving vehicles is subject to liability under Part 1 of Article 18.15 of the Code of Administrative Offences (a fine of 100 base units, with deprivation of the right to drive for a period of 3 years); under Part 2 (a fine of 200 base units, with deprivation of the right to drive for a period of 5 years).

The State Automobile Inspectorate also asks citizens not to remain indifferent and to report any instances of driving vehicles by intoxicated persons that become known to them by calling the short number 102.
