Drivers should remember that under such conditions, the grip of car tires on the road surface significantly decreases, and the braking distance increases manifold. Furthermore, the risk of wheel lock-up during braking increases. Any sudden change in speed or direction of movement can cause a skid.

The main thing for a driver is vigilance, low speed, and exceptional smoothness of movements. Braking should be limited and performed only with the clutch engaged. When accelerating, apply gas gently, especially in rear-wheel-drive vehicles. Turns should be taken at a constant speed, for which purpose it is necessary to reduce speed to a minimum in advance.
