On March 30, Minsk /BelTA correspondent/. Residential buildings constructed for citizens in need of improved housing conditions in Belarus may be commissioned without mandatory interior finishing. This decision is contained in Resolution of the Council of Ministers No. 352, the government's press service informed BelTA. In accordance with the amendment made to the Regulations on the Procedure for Commissioning Facilities, approved by Resolution of the Council of Ministers No. 452 of November 29, 1991, residential buildings (parts of apartments therein) of housing construction cooperatives for citizens registered as needing improved housing conditions (as well as residential buildings constructed with extra-budgetary funds and bank loans) may be commissioned without the full completion of preparatory work for wall and ceiling finishing (except for plastering), interior finishing work (wallpapering, painting, tiling), without floor coverings (except for plank flooring), without built-in furniture, without the installation of door units in internal partitions, sanitary fixtures and equipment (except for toilets, water and gas meters), electric stoves, and residential buildings in rural areas, in addition, without the construction of outbuildings, coverings for driveways and paths, fences and landscaping, subject to the written consent of the customer (investor), residents, and the introduction of relevant changes to the design and estimate documentation and the construction contract. "When concluding a loan agreement, as well as a shared construction agreement, citizens indicate in their application that they wish to build housing without finishing. Those wishing to receive housing with finishing indicate this in their application. Everything is based on citizens' applications," the Ministry of Architecture and Construction of Belarus explained.
