Last evening in Vitebsk, a tree fell in the yard of a multi-story residential building due to strong wind gusts, the Vitebsk Regional Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations informed a BELTA correspondent. The report of the fallen tree was received by the rescue service around 5 p.m. Upon arrival at the scene, the Ministry of Emergency Situations unit found that as a result of strong wind gusts, with speeds reaching 15-20 m/s, the tree had fallen onto cars parked in the yard of the multi-story residential building. Three cars were damaged as a result. Fortunately, no one was injured. Ministry of Emergency Situations workers carried out the work to saw and lift the tree off the vehicles using mechanized tools and a mobile crane.-0-
