From May 25, drivers must use low beam headlights during daylight hours.

The campaign is annual and is held in connection with the end of the academic year and the beginning of summer holidays.

The event is aimed at preventing child road traffic injuries: headlights switched on even during the day make the vehicle more visible.

Failure to comply with this requirement will result in a warning or a fine of up to three base amounts. Today, this is 126 rubles, and for repeated violations – up to eight base amounts or 336 rubles.

The special comprehensive event "Attention – Children!" will traditionally run from May 25 to June 5.
