Newly recruited servicemen of the mechanized brigade of the Zaslonovo garrison met with Irina Shestopalova, Senior Prosecutor of the Department for Supervision of Legislation Enforcement in the Troops of the Vitebsk Region Prosecutor's Office. The meeting is part of the preventive work carried out by the supervisory authority.

Instead of a formal lecture, there was a lively and practical discussion. The prosecutor emphasized the importance of understanding not only the rights but also the duties that come with the special status of a serviceman from the very first days of service.

Special attention was paid to interpersonal relationships within the team. Real-life examples were used to illustrate the consequences of violating statutory regulations, negligent handling of property, or disregard for safety rules when handling weapons. This approach allows for understanding the meaning and consequences of a rule, rather than simply memorizing it.

Such meetings are an important part of the adaptation of new recruits. They help reduce the risks of offenses through understanding rather than fear, and foster conscious discipline.
